A Ballerina and her Prince

I have been blessed to be surrounded by such cute little kiddos this week! I met the Kuhn family this morning at Wegerzyn Gardens. It's a beautiful place with flowers and little brick paths.

Annalise (aka Abby) dressed up in her ballerina outfit complete with slippers. I finally convinced her to show me some of the steps she knows. She was more interested in her chemistry class than dance. That's right, four years old and doing chemistry at the Boonshoft Museum. But that was okay. It was fun watching her dad show her the moves!

Her prince (aka little brother Ethan) dressed to kill in a black tuxedo and bow tie. He looked adorable! Ethan is seven months old and has started to sit up. He was so interested in the ground around him...little explorer.

Will and Jen are raising a beautiful family and I really enjoyed spending the morning with them! Can't wait to share the rest of the photos - soon!

A Step Back...

I was so excited when Tosha Cunningham came to me and ask if we could replicate those old, very old, Dick and Jane early readers. Her youngest daughter, Ella, looks just like Jane!

Tosha was able to find the most adorable dress for this special shoot! And look at
those mary jane shoes!

We took lots of shots of Ella just being cute. She started out very shy, but soon warmed up.

Joining Ella were her big sister, McKay and big brother, Ethan. Both of these sweet kids are so helpful with Ella. Ethan is a goofball - as I would have expected knowing his father! We've had the privilage of getting to know McKay in our life group class at church. She's as bright and articulate as her photo depicts!

What a great morning with the Cunningham kids!

Sisters

What a beautiful day! I met my friend Christine and her two lovely little girls at a beautiful park. These two girls are so full of life!

Annie is the oldest and is heading off to Kindergarten this fall. She is one of the most witty little girls I have ever known - and being a teacher, I've met many lively kiddos! I love her no-nonsense persona!

And then there's Kara - love her dearly...she, on the other hand, could probably do without me having a camera in her face. We just tried to distract her - those non-smiling photos reflect innocence and sweetness, just like she does.

These two will have so much fun growing up together. They will make so many memories that will last a lifetime. Here's to sisters!

Party of Five

I had so much fun with Nikki and her family. The day was shaping up to be cloudy and rainy, but it turned out to be perfect weather for photos! It's not easy coordinating a family with young kids for a photo shoot, but Nikki did a great job!

Lucas is the oldest, going into the third grade. And as most young boys like to do, he wanted to go exploring. Take a look at the snail shell he found. We didn't tell his mom he was digging in the dirt!

Little Noah is as cute as can be! He's going into Kindergarten this fall. Love the missing two front teeth!

Josie...precious and adorable...mellow and sweet... Isn't she a doll? You can tell her brothers love her! She is growing into an inquisitive toddler!

And this family wouldn't be complete without these two! Thanks Nikki and Justin for sharing this time with me. I hope you enjoyed it!
