One sweet family!

Aren't they beautiful? These three children are absolutely precious! We met this morning at Cox Arboretum and I quickly discovered how nice it was to meet on a Monday morning - the place was ours! I was able to take some fun shots from across the pond.

We've had the joy of teaching the oldest boy in our life group at church and I can honestly say I have learned so much from him. He's an all around great kid - as funny and kind as he is bright!

He is followed by his equally adorable little sister who is starting the 2nd grade this fall. She was fun to photograph and I could tell she enjoyed walking around the park. She loved smelling the flowers. I hope her allergies didn't act up later.

Finishing out this trio is a spunky little guy entering Kindergarten in a couple of months. You can tell he is so inquisitive and has a zest for life!

Of course the children spotted some interesting critters along the path. Here are two friends we met.

Thank you Ty and Stephanie for sharing your little ones with me for a couple of hours. I really enjoyed my session with them and look forward to more in the future!

These girls ROCK!

I had so much fun doing this photo shoot. Natalie and Madison are two beautiful and energetic girls. Both are about to enter high school. I know what you're thinking...they look much older than that!
We started the morning with fingers crossed. The forecast called for storms and we new they were impending. This actually made for great lighting and we made it through our session...double blessing!

We did a "Waynesville Walk." There are so many interesting buildings in my historic town. Then we headed out to Sugarcreek Reserve, hiked the trails, and snapped shots.

Both of these girls are adorable, inside and out. They planned the day with 9 outfit changes! I think we made it through five of those.

I hope I have the opportunity to do their senior shots in a few short years. I had so much fun with them! Well- 3 hours, 5 outfits, and about 3.5 miles later I have so many pictures to edit. Girls, hope you enjoyed it!

A Much Needed "Stay"cation!

It's my first day off of school and Phil took a vacation day from work in the office to work at home. Luckily, he finished a lot of his projects this weekend so we could enjoy our morning together. We said goodbye to Ally on her last day of school and hit the town with Kendra and Carson.

There's nothing more relaxing to me than a walk around our little historic town. The streets are lined with old buildings...places I see through new eyes and my lenses.

Phil (the "P" in JP) was delightfully cooperative as I shot some photos of him in front of the town's historic jailhouse. Carson also joined in and enjoyed exploring the premises.

We finished our walk with breakfast at McDonalds and few more snapshots with the boys!

Fun with the Farleys II

I enjoy sessions with this family so much! They are so special and have been a leading force in our decision to move forward in business. We spent a couple hours at Delco Park in Kettering. Look at these sweet faces!

It was a gorgeous evening and the whole family looked spectacular. The girls loved running in the park, chasing bubbles, and loving on their mom and dad...and each other.

Thank you for being such an inspiration to me in this adventure. I love your family!

And...this shoot was made even more enjoyable by my lovely and I stress the word LOVELY assistant Shelby...
